Oh boy, last month tossed us a curveball. Ross Young, that’s the big cheese over at Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), dropped a nugget of info. Apparently, those fancy OLED panels for the beefy 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2024) were flying off the shelves faster than their 11-inch siblings. So, if you’ve got your heart set on the smaller size, brace yourself. It might just turn into a wild goose chase once they hit the shelves.

Now, here’s the scoop we got earlier today. Apple’s planning a shindig on May 7th, dubbed “Let Loose.” Sounds fun, right? They’re gonna pull the curtain back on the new iPad Pro (2024) series. And guess what? These bad boys are the first in the iPad lineup to flaunt an OLED display. But wait, there’s more. Apple’s also throwing a 12.9-inch model into the iPad Air (2024) mix, stepping up from the usual 10.9-inch size. Both gadgets are getting a facelift with a landscape front-facing camera and some beefy chip upgrades (the 3nm M3 for the Pro line and the 5nm M2 for the Air series).
